Something wrong

"The Battle on Iloom draws to a close as all the Covenant's remaining planetary forces cluster around the relic research center. The UNSC forces link up and assaults the complex with help from their Kig-yar allies. However, none of them expects that the planet's governor, uncle to Rtas "Half-Jaw" 'Vadumee, himself is planning to hunt down and kill the Spartans."

Chapter 9 is up!

As the title says, chapter 9 is up. Sorry for the long delay, but things in life *cough* gradutaion *uncough* kept me from writing until today. I've also had to play a little Halo Wars ever since I got it as a present for my graduation :P

Anyway, chapter 9 should make you satisfied; got it to 4 full pages. It's here when you want to read it:

Delay in DWG

Baccus here. Matt's going to camp with dad for some father-son time during the weekend. Therefore, he'll at the maximum be able to write one chapter, depending on when he gets back. I may try to write a chapter for him, but otherwise you shouldn't count on any chapters until next week. But check the blog anyway, something might come up.

On another note, Matt has told me that he's recruited another character for the story, Lomi's Ameigh Broley. In case you don't know, she's a prophet-elite hybrid created with an old legend in mind. She holds a high rank within the Covenant, and will become an important figure in the story later.

Finally, Matt has confirmed that DWG is the first in a trilogy, perhaps that'll get you excited :P

Sorry guys, but I had to change the concept of the chapter a little, therefore contradicting the summary slightly. I also had to make it slightly short and change the name. Again, sorry guys.

Welcome to our blog! Matthias Carlson "Matt-256" here. Hope you enjoy this blog and excuse the mess...it's not done yet.

Still, the important thing is, I've got some updates for Deeper We Go:

Chapter 8, titled "The Covenant of Lies", will be up tomorrow or on thursday. Part of it is already written, so tomorrow is the most likely unless something comes up. Here's the chapter summary:

"While the Covenant's new Arbiter struggles to stop the Human/Kig-yar Heretic actions, Tartarus, the most powerful Jiralhanae Chieftain in the Covenant, is given a new flagship along with a sacred mission; to find and locate a Forerunner relic known only as 'The Relay'. But on the way to his mission, his fleet is attacked by Sangheili Extremists. Can the mighty Chieftain deal with the situation without causing outright civil war between the Jiralhanae and the Sangheili?"

"Meanwhile, a mysterious sect known as the Masters of Ascendence proceed with a plan to overthrow the Covenant. What could this plan be, and will they suceed?"
